In such a case, the fees are already included in the part of your regular high school fees and so it may be free for you. You may enroll in the CNA training classes and then graduate with a CNA certificate along with your high school diploma.
  • State Programs- Your state may be offering various funds and scholarships in form of financial aids at various community colleges. Most community colleges offer CNA training classes. Besides, they also offer the federal financial aid to needy and disadvantaged students.
  • Nursing homes- At many large nursing homes, you may be able to find a free CNA training class. At such nursing homes, they will train you for free; however, you may be required to sign a contract stating that you would work for the stated period of time with that same nursing home.

  • The Workforce and Continuing Education Department have a grant which pays for the entire CNA course, uniforms, transportation charges and even daycare to QUALIFIED students. However there are a few requirements for the applicants: must be low income, out of school and 17-21 years old.
